The Jazz Workshop and the Jazz Ensemble from Belleville West High School will be sharing an informal performance on Sunday, May 18th from 6-9 PM in the Atrium at the Pheasant Run Resort. Dinner will be available for purchase at the event, which features two outstanding groups. Come out and support our talented students!

Our final concert of the year is on Tuesday, May20th at 7:30 PM with all of our concert groups featuring Pops music from each ensemble. Planned is music from movies like the Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, Patton, and music by great film composer John Williams. We will also honor all of our senior band members at this concert.

All sophomore and junior band students will perform at the St. Charles East Graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 25th.  The biggest change for this year is the fact that the ceremony is being held at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. We will meet at school at 2:15 PM to bus to the Sears Centre. The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, and we will bus back to school, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

The Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled which means the STCE Band will not be marching.  The parade will be held again in 2009.
